TV anime “One Punch Man Season 3” will not receive any major announcements at Jump Festa 2025, as the series is notably absent from the event’s main stage lineup.
While fans were hopeful for potential updates about the highly anticipated third season, the series will only have a merchandise booth at Bandai Namco’s section during the event, which takes place on December 21-22, 2024, at Makuhari Messe in Japan.
Current Status of Season 3
The third season of One Punch Man was officially announced in August 2022, but concrete details about its production have been limited. Previous speculation about a 2024 release has not materialized, and current estimates suggest the series might premiere in early to mid-2025.

Production Timeline:- The wait for Season 3 has now extended beyond five years since Season 2’s conclusion in 2019. This extended gap follows a pattern of lengthy production cycles for the series, as there was also a significant delay between the first and second seasons.
One Punch Man Season 3 may have reason for concern following a cryptic statement from Chikashi Kubota, the series’ character designer. When asked about the production status, Kubota remarked,
“I can’t really say anything, but there might be some problems.”
What We Know So Far:- The upcoming season is expected to adapt the Monster Association arc, beginning from Volume 17, Chapter 86 of the manga. The story will continue to follow Saitama and Genos, along with featuring prominent battles between the S-Class heroes and the Monster Association, in which “One Punch Man” Manga Sells Reaches 32 Million Copies in Circulation.
While Jump Festa 2025 won’t provide the update many fans were hoping for, industry observers suggest that future announcements might come through other channels, possibly at events like Anime Japan.
For now, fans will have to remain more patient as they await more concrete information about the series’ return.
